Hello, so here is my plan on my hairloss.
I avoid anything that would significantly raise my hormones lately, other than working out (yes that means avoiding sex... but only for a bit). As long as I am taking fin, I expect my dht levels to dip, but that would increase my testosterone levels. I believe that testosterone plays a part in the hairline thinning, so I can see how some fin users said their hairlines were messed up. My hairline actually got significantly worse after I started fin. But, I figure if i can manually regulate my hormones to some extent, I can get my body into a good hormone cycle.
I feel like I can trace my thinning to a specific time where I was worried about my hormones, and that's when my hormone levels changed. So I want to change them back.
The way I understand it is high levels of testosterone in men cause DHT to be formed, which obviously affects hair follicles.
I also think low levels of testosterone in men may cause DHT to form, as it is more potent than regular testosterone.
So technically speaking, if I am on fin and get my testosterone level back to normal (between high and low) my hair thinning should slow, correct?
Are there other factors that start attacking hair follicles once they start thinning? It cannot be that easy.
