    propecia bad effects on hairline

This is a question for anyone who had a good head of hair with minimal loss before using propecia, has anyone noticed a negative hit on their hairline?

Ive heard people say it wouldn't on these sites but I assume they probably didn't have a hairline when beginning fin.

Don't read into that I started receding and my first course of action was fin. I've regained some temple hair. I've responded so well that I'm not a guy that's balding anymore.

Shortly after starting Propecia (3 months), the midscalp area appeared to have thinned out. It wasn't necessarily the hair line, but directly after it. That was 2 years ago and I don't think it has gotten any worse. There is still hair there, but you can now see my scalp through the hair, which wasn't the case before. I have to use Dermatch now to hide it.

No. I've debated about trying Rogaine for 2 years now and have read about many other's experience's, both good and bad. I've seen some amazing pictures of guys with regrowth, and then I've heard other's say that their hair became worse as well. From what I've read, Rogaine is more of a cosmetic drug than anything (correct me if I'm wrong), and I'd rather not risk another blow just for the possibility of my hair "looking thicker". I also researched it and found out that a pretty low percentage of people who use it see any results at all, somewhere below the 30% range. I'm pulling these figures out from my memory, but I'm pretty sure it was in that range.

What's the difference between the versions?
Where do you get yours from?

Minoxidil is like a band aid it works for while and eventually stops. I think around 5 years on average

My crown has actually gone bad since using propecia.
Every time I take a pill I feel intense burning.

                    :/

What's the dr klein dmi version? Is it pricey?

All our treatments are really band aids or I guess by all I just mean both.

Yup, but finasteride is like a gauze pad and minox is one of those pinky strips.

My hairline has definitely receded on fin. My crown now seems to be getting better. Hopefully my hairline does.

I wonder why it makes hairlines thin out faster, its a shame. Im hoping it fills back in.
If not ill just have to shave my head.
