Buzz cut - need honest opinions.

    Hey all ,
So I buzzed off my hair with a #2 to try it out for a couple of months. I realize I have a pretty big noggin, so obviously this is not the preferred look for me. However, I'm going to be 36 next month, and it seems like the Fin is giving up on my crown to some extent. Hairline is holding for now, although it is a lot higher than it used to be.
I've been going back and forth about getting an FUE procedure. I don't think I'm ready yet however. As far as the buzz cut goes, it's hard to tell if I can pass for human with this cut. I know I have a big dome, but I just wanted to see if you all thought I could maybe go with this look after a little bulking up and tanning. Also, if perhaps I should go a little shorter or longer next time. My wife says it looks ok, but I'm not convinced. I can still grow enough hair to get by, but it gets annoying having to avoid the wind and rain, etc. Perhaps it would be better to wait until it is my only option, but I would just like some objective opinions from other dudes. I'm putting myself out there, so please only constructive opinions.
    Thanks!

Looks good. You have like a Jesse Pinkman thing going on. I'd definitely keep the buzz.

Ha! Thanks. I always wonder what he would like like without the fuzz on top though. Makes me nervous...

Thanks for the kind words man. Give it a shot! With a #2 guard, it'll only take 6-8 weeks to come back in if you don't like it.

Gratz dude. Looks pro. Also the beard works pretty well in combination. I'd say on a longer term you could even rock the bald look.

I have the same haircut. Give yourself a few weeks for you and your wife to get used to it. Looks real clean. I wouldn't look twice if I saw you out in public. Doesn't look unusual at all.

I was confused when you said you are 36, good look for you.

                        Thanks for the input...

Thank you guys for your 2 cents. Do you think it's true that bulking up can help a little bit with this look? I have always been skinny, but I've been hitting the weights in hopes of maybe reaching a somewhat Statham-esque look in my older age. My biggest fear is looking like a scrawny , bald, bobble head. lol
It's really hard to tell how you are perceived by others. Again, I totally acknowledge my bigger than average head, but do you think some additional upper body mass could improve my situation? Thanks again.

Getting in shape definitely wouldn't hurt. I don't think you need to become a huge meat head to pull off the look though.

                            You've done it!

If only i had the balls to do the same.

Looks good, you look good mate.

How do you feel about it now, that's the question, never mind what people think, you've climbed the mounting, you just gotta decide what route to take down (then reclimb) or sit at the top and enjoy the view!!
