Does minox cause an itchy scalp? It's getting out of hand now, im itching all over my scalp and starting to wonder if it's a fungal infection instead of minox like i've always thought it was

Hell yeah it does. Since about a week after I started minoxidil I have had the itch from hell and dandruff. I could deal with the itch, but the dandruff look unhygienic, it sucks. I use 4 different shampoos to try to control it, but still have issues.

I have heard that the foam isn't as harsh on the scalp, maybe I should give it a try.

I use a conditioner every time I shower. I use the foam in the morning and liquid at night. I have not experienced itchy scalp or dandruff.
