    A question about minoxidil

If I'm on finasteride and I use minoxidil and I get hair regrowth, do I need to use minoxidil indefinitely to maintain that regrowth? Or can I then go off the minoxidil and count on the finasteride to maintain the regrowth that minoxidil caused?

    Thanks.

You have to keep using minoxidil or any gains from minoxidil will be lost

I was actually thinking of the same question the OP posted. Damn that sucks. Not that applying minoxidil is that big of a deal, but the itch and dandruff it causes sucks big time.

Thanks for responding, but can I get some justification please?

I am aware that the instructions for minoxidil typically say that you will lose the gains you got if you go off the medication, but I imagine this is under the assumption that minoxidil is the only hair medication you are using.
