Hey bro, sorry to hear that your are suffering from hair loss.
here are my recommendations/opinions. Most doctors don't know much as we give them credit for. Follow my list if you want. Somethings may be waste of time but better being safe than sorry later.
1. Get your blood work done along with other labs. This to rule out any sort of deficiency. Also, check your hormone levels such estradiol, testosterone, and DHT. Don't forget to check your thyroid make sure there isn't issues with thyroid gland.
2. Look for another specialist such as dermatologist. This is to make sure this is male pattern baldness. We can lose hair for many reason so it important to make sure it is MPB.
3. If you feel certain that it is MPB along with a professional then start a regiment.
4. Regiment i recommend is Rogaine, Dermaroller, and nizoral. Be patient give it 6 months and be consistent. It takes atleast 3 months to notice a difference typical but 6 months ideal.
5. I wouldn't recommend finasteride since you are really young. Don't want you start ****ing up with your hormone levels while you still are developing. Stay away from finasteride for atleast few more years. If this regiment help you maintain your hair or helps regrowth then stick to it. In 5 to 10 year their will be better solution.
6. Take care of your body. Hair loss can be very devastating for young men. Don't let it consume you or become center of your life. Start eating healthy cut junk foods or processed foods. Start hitting gym to stay fit.
7. Continue to take school and in few years your career serious. Down the road a stable and successful are way more important than hair loss.
8. Now if you followed the previous steps. Either you have stopped your hair loss or it continued it progression. Atleast you have a healthy body and good career.
9. Still not over hair loss around mid to late twenties? Get a hair transplant. Many new options will be available by the time you get around that age. Hopefully you have a good career which might mean you are good financial situation so you can afford a decent hair transplant.
Sorry, if i provided too much or too irrelevant information. Please don't let the hair loss stop you from enjoying and being successful in life.Comment

Kkam Welcome to this forum.
Keep in mind that we are all our own worst critic meaning that what you see on your own self others do not.
Also know that the time line for a 'maturing' head of hair varies from person to person.
You may very well NOT become bald later in life.
In looking at your photo I can see why you might be so concerned but it all has to do with lighting, positioning, hair condition at the time of taking the photo etc.
Your head of hair does not necessarily show you to be losing hair.
Start using the shampoo Nizoral 1% and follow its instructions..
do not over use it.
The most important thing for you to do is to NOT FOCUS so much on your hair .
When 'we' do that we all tend to OVER-ANALYZE and then panic.
Your 19 years old my friend keep in mind that
Stress can add to hair loss That is a FACT. It has happened to me bro.
Do not unnecessarily STRESS yourself out over this..you might not be going bald, you may just be experiencing a maturing of your hair.
Stick with us for logical advice..Add a few more photos of your hairline ,sides back etc..thanks young-manComment

Great points Artista. Self image must play a role in anorexia nervosa. In other words, a woman or man who is overweight still sees an overweight person in the mirror even though to others, they can appear skinny or even malnourished.
