Switch to DUT or give RU a try? Please help

I am currently on 1.25mg ED of Finasteride, Minoxidil and Nizoral which I have been on the past 3 years. I am 27 diffuse thinner and my hair started to thin at 23 . I believe Finasteride may have helped slightly by slowing down the process but it doesn't seem to be effective any longer as I am loosing ground rapidly. I use to have very thick hair but over the last year by hair has started to loose all its density and very thin on top now.

I feel I need to do something more about it now. I am thinking of switching over to DUT or RU. My question is what would be best In my case??? I do have concerns about the sides of DUT, and that I may not get any better results from it then Fin but at the same time I am unsure if RU even works as many users on the forum seem to come off RU after not seeing results.

Your comments would be appreciated. I have uploaded a few pictures(they are not the best quantity)

Take dut. If you want to try RU, make sure you stay on fin or go on dut at the same time

I guess try dut if you are tolerating fin well.

But seriously, not many people can have wet hair under bright light and not show scalp.. your hair doesn't look bad at all, just step up your treatment with dut and stop worrying.

From the results that RU users say they have had, I read in several forums that RU is basically like fin but "without sides". So RU would probably be just as good as fin in terms of results, some one correct me if i'm wrong. If this is the case, Dut is better if you want actual results.

Your hair is thinning. If you really want to see whats going on, cut it down to an inch and a half.

For me it was a huge blow. I had no idea how much of a diffuse I really was. I had spent so long growing the top longer and cutting the sides short it appeared to have the same density.

I am glad you are on Fin at 27. They say most of our shedding happens before age 30 so you have done better than most. Keep on the meds and hang onto that hair dude !!!

Thanks for the replies, I have decided to give DUT a try and will start in a few weeks. I will drop FIN straight away once I start. I'm thinking about getting my DHT levels tested before I changeover but that's easier said then done in the UK.

I will update any progress over the next few months.
