Losing more hairs when shampoo is in?

I notice that when in the shower if I run my hands through my hair before applying shampoo I get 0-2 hairs on my hands. Once I put the shampoo in, suddenly it jumps up after the shampoo sits for a min or two.

What does this mean?

Nothing. You could lose 200 hairs every shower and if it all grows back it doesnt matter. The problem really is do those 2 or more hairs grow back during each hair cycle? If they dont your going bald slowly so counting hairs is not as important as noticing bald spots proving your hair is not regrowing properly
