Finasteride, please help.

If you don't respond to finasteride, is it because your hair loss is too aggressive or that you simply don't respond to finasteride.?

Do you suspect fin was doing nothing? At such a young age I wonder if you weren't headed to Nw7 on the fast track.

Do you have pics is baseline vs now?

Minoxidil has more or less kept my hairline where not was but everything behind has thinned, back and sides shed a lot too which is strange and they have since 17. Tric said i had chronic telogen effluvium and a slight receding hairline but I have a feeling it was just diffuse mpb or dupa. I have hundreds of little hair sprouting on my scalp but many look weak and thin but maybe I looking at them before they are at full thickness as all new hair is tapered I assume? How long does it take before hair is growing at full diameter? The hairs in see are probably at 5 mm, should they be thick by then?

i think you need to take it every day, 1mg or a bit higher, i take 5mg aday,but been told it over kill. f you think dht are high then really you need, to up it a little.? im not a doctor, but i think thats what i would do

I take 2.5mg every 2 days. I have been on it exactly 6 months now. Cant say I have noticed any difference in the slightest.

Interesting, I'm going to try cutting again into a 1.25mg and take it daily, but I'm scepticle as it would mean the physical pill i take would be quite small and i feel it would be hard to absorb full amount. But I'm not sure how it works.
