What's stopping Prince William from getting a hair transplant?

I mean, Prince William still has some hair on top, and plus, his donor area seems thick from the photos I've seen....

He is he pinnacle of diffuse thinning. He's not going to be able to cover his whole head with HT and he is mostly likely going to lose whatever else is up there in the relatively near future I'd venture.

It's strangely consoling that even a prince has to put up with this bullshit.

The idea of a "prince" getting a HT just does not seem right.

Maybe he's like many of us on here and thinks that hair transplantation is not nearly as effective an option for hair restoration as he would like, and comes with many downsides as well. Plus, it seems like his wife doesn't seem to care so why would he go through the aggravation, time, money, and possible side effects of finasteride (which he'd probably have to get on if he got an HT)?

Hair loss f*cked his look pretty bad. He should have gone on meds in his early 20s

I think he could definitely benefit from a procedure, even if he doesn't get a full restoration. I feel many are just skeptical of hair transplants and medications. He has a strong donor, and a good hair/skin color match. Someone like Shapiro or Hasson or Bisanga could really help the poor guy.

Then again many men who may benefit don't get them done.

This is the strongest thing in his favor I think.
I agree his donor looked strong last time I saw a picture, but he is a major diffuser....if his donor ever starts thinning he would be screwed after a transplant

He probably couldn't get away with it - he's in the public eye every day of his life. Also, it's worth remembering that he was born a prince - he hasn't lived the same lives that we have, and doesn't feel the same social pressures that we do, because he is a prince, and is, by any definition, 'special'. The pressures that he has, are to comport himself appropriately in public, to always be 'on', to have media scutinising him all the time etc.

The reason we all want more hair is because we want to be more attractive to women, and want a more level playing field with those guys who have hair. Prince William is going to be attractive to women, and has high social status, rightly or wrongly, simply because he's a prince.

                    Well said 'clee984'.

He would always be labelled as 'the prince that had a hair transplant' for the rest of his life. He's been in the spot life his entire life, but more so in his early to late teens, till this present day. For him to undergo a procedure at this point, it would be documented each and time he appeared under the camera. I don't think he'd want to be scrutinized for that. He's got a beautiful wife, all the wealth in the world, what more does he need? Maybe a full head of hair...? haha

I suspect he may have stayed away from propecia due to scaremongering by the royal doctors. The "propecia is poison" rumours would have scared them into thinking that it would make the Prince impotent.

After all, Will needs to produce an heir.

He has a hot wife, who obviously doesn't care about his balding head, at least not enough to stop her marrying him. I guess as he is rich and has a gorgeous wife then hairloss is not holding him back.

He has lost his looks big-time. Hairloss screws with everyones looks....

One thing that intrigues me is.....will he shave it off? I have thought about this before and don't think he will, I can see him keeping it long on the sides and being completely bald on top like an old man.

I just think if he shave it to grade one he will look thuggish and unapproachable and the Royals don't want to give that impression off.

He should get a hair transplant though, just have a high hairline.

The royals are obsessed with organic food, clean water and having their own special health care.
Hell, most of them live to 100+, so they must know something us plebs don't.
And one of those things is not to take dangerous drugs like propecia, that's to sterilize us little people, the royals must produce an heir.

Women used to drool over him in his early 20's, shows how much hairloss ****s with your looks.

To be honest if I was as rich as him with a hot wife who doesn't seem to care about his hairloss I'd just let it go.

I wish the media would leave him alone over it though.
