    So, i'm screwed. But what norwood

    Think i'm gonna get me a script of fin as soon as i can scrape together the dough. Hair seems to be falling quite a bit; very frightening. It seems to have gotten worse over the last 3 months. There is a- quite small to be honest- circle on my crown too. My hairline has always been pretty high, for as long as i can remember, but i'm sure its got worse. i may be paranoid

    (dad is bald)

    What norwood am I do you think? and what are the chances fin is going to save me until a better treatment comes along?

      First of all, of course there is a "chance" fin can save you. And there is no way to say what norwood your are without having pictures.

      A small hole may just be a cowlick, most people have 1 (some have 2) and its that penny~quarter sized hole that your hair spirals out of. No way to say what is without pictures though.

                  stimpy, you are a Nw2 at worst, and finasteride can keep someone at or above baseline hair count for a decade according to the Rossi et al 10 year study, so as long as you act fast and decisively (and actually have diagnosable MPB), you have nothing to fear.

                      There is also a chance that with Fin you will loose your ability to maintain erections if you are susceptible to DHT blockers like some of us are.

                      Just say'n mate! If it does happen just stop the Fin and your mojo will come back...

                      Don't get a hairtransplant until Dr Nigram has proven his technique. Or DR Gho comes down in price.

                          Norwood 2? That's ludicrous, your a 1. 1.5 at utmost worst, your hairline is fine.
                          Just get to a dermatologist, check if its, MPB, and take preventive measures.
