All depends on your terminal norwood and what donor regeneration % you get...norwood 6-7 probably not...norwood 4-5 with 50% donor regeneration I guess you could get pretty close and leave your worries behind

The problem with seeing finasteride as a last resort, is that that is the one way to ensure it will never work for you. The whole point with fin is to prevent hair loss, not wait until after the hair loss happens

However I understand some people do not tolerate fin well. For them it would be a last resort or a non option.

I've read that the hair you have at 30 will be similar to what you have at 60.

It either goes fast or it goes really slow.

I'd hold off until you're 30 or your loss has stabilized with treatments before you consider a transplant.

I agree with waiting till 30s for HT but what do you mean. You definitely can go a lot balder from 30-60

My experience has been that I lost more hair from 20 to 30 then I have lost from 30 to 46. No question about it.

The huge bulk of hair loss usually comes in your twenties. This is why I agree with doctors who want to wait until the patient is age 30 to do a surgery.

surgery is just out of the question due to cost, nice idea but not worth it really.

plus it does seem like more products are on the way, maybe 3-4 years away sure but still coming.

I really think in 6 years keeping your hair will be much easier and safer then it is now. The next couple years are going to be tough though.
