    1st time post questions

I am 40 and my hair line has been slowly receding steadily for years. I still have enough hair that if I comb it just right, that I look like I almost have a full head of hair. What I would like to do is look at some conservative ways to slow down any further hair loss.

    1. Should I take vitamins? If so what kind?

    2. I have been shampooing my hair in morning and night since I was old enough to do it. Some people say they only shampoo every couple days. That seems a little gross to me. If you sweat during the day how do you not wash it with shampoo at night before bed. Also I like to wash in morning otherwise my hair looks greasy and flat. Do you just rinse it with just water instead of shampoo?

    3. Should I try Nizoral shampoo once or twice a week? If so, where do you buy it. My Walmart does not have it (not available online either). Amazon has two sellers offering it for $175 or something crazy like that. Or should I use RegenePure DR Shampoo. Would either cause shedding?

I have been using plan Suave shampoo for years.

    4. How about Nioxin? Would that be a good daily shampoo to use?

    5. I do not wish to use meds such as Rog/Propecia. What other non medical conservative things can I do?
