Best hair products for Norwood 3A?

As the thinner hair in front has a way of resisting the comb, I tend to use Brylcreem or American Crew pomade. What do you (or would you) use to keep thin hair in place?

Well, I'm a Norwood 3 with the beginnings of diffuse thinning, but you can't tell that, because once I've put all my products in, my hair is a goddamned layercake.

I'd recommend you start with American Crew's light hold texture lotion - I use it before I dry my hair. Makes my hair looks like something other than a crumbling straw wig. Once my hair is dry, I "****tail" AC's Pomade and Forming Cream together. it works super well - FC has better hold than their pomade, but the pomade give you the shine + appearance of healthy hair.

There was a period of time when I was literally going to cosmetic stores at every paycheck and picking up some new product to see if it could hide my thinning hair. This combination has worked the best for me. Good luck.

Whynot, thanks a lot. You've obviously done your research! I don't think the stringy, tousled look thinning hair can have upon removing one's hat looks quite good one anyone. A bit of natural shagginess in a full head of hair can look debonair, but on a balding man, it is just unkempt.

I'll be giving your suggestion a try soon.
