Hi fellas,
Here's my story - I've been on Fin for 14 months (12 months on generic 5mg, cutting into fifths, 2 months on finpecia). I've never experienced a noticeable shed. The fin seems to be maintaining my hair - some days I don't shed a single hair in the shower, other days up to about 10 hairs.
Anyway, so a month ago I decided to start on Minoxidil to encourage regrowth, but have a couple of questions.
1. So far I haven't experienced any shed from minox - at what stage do people normally experience it? Or could it be that because I've been using fin, my hair is quite 'stable'?
2. My first month I was using REGAINE (blue bottle), but for my second I'm using ROGAINE (silver bottle). Now, I know they're the same product, just licensed in different territories. However, upon comparing the bottles I've noticed that the inactive ingredients are different between each. Are they really the same product? And has anyone had problems switching between the two? I'm talking about the two foam versions here.
