Also 19 and may be balding?

So a few months ago, I realized that my hairline has been receding. I find hairs all over my pillow and when I wash my hair, I find a good amount of hairs in my hands as well. My father is bald and 2 of my uncles on my mother's side are bald. I have attached some pictures of my hairline. Can you guys tell me where I stand on the NW scale? If I am losing my hair, is there anything I can do about it?

I think that is the beginning of NW 2 leading TO 2.5 roughly as the peak of your hairline is degrading by the temples and the widow's peak is there. Speak to a dermatologist and a good one and he might set you on the path towards the big 3 which consists of Minoxidil, Propecia which you can get a script written for and Nizoral a shampoo that blocks out DHT that should be used once a week.

I certainly agree with Chris, with the background of hair loss in your family, I would surely try to halt or slow it as long as possibly.

looks like it is more than maturing hairline as it is much deeper corners
yes you can do by taking propecia and using minoxidil, BUT first see a doctor so he can tell you what exactly to do

Agree with what everyone above says. This looks like MPB rather than a mature hairline; one of the giveaways is the "disintegrating" look to your hairline; sort a soft, ragged edge rather than a "line." Talk to a doctor, research plenty on the forum, and look into the Big 3 treatments - minoxidil, Propecia, and Nizoral or Regenepure shampoo.
