So a few months ago, I realized that my hairline has been receding. I find hairs all over my pillow and when I wash my hair, I find a good amount of hairs in my hands as well. My father is bald and 2 of my uncles on my mother's side are bald. I have attached some pictures of my hairline. Can you guys tell me where I stand on the NW scale? If I am losing my hair, is there anything I can do about it?
Also 19 and may be balding?

I think that is the beginning of NW 2 leading TO 2.5 roughly as the peak of your hairline is degrading by the temples and the widow's peak is there. Speak to a dermatologist and a good one and he might set you on the path towards the big 3 which consists of Minoxidil, Propecia which you can get a script written for and Nizoral a shampoo that blocks out DHT that should be used once a week. -

Agree with what everyone above says. This looks like MPB rather than a mature hairline; one of the giveaways is the "disintegrating" look to your hairline; sort a soft, ragged edge rather than a "line." Talk to a doctor, research plenty on the forum, and look into the Big 3 treatments - minoxidil, Propecia, and Nizoral or Regenepure shampoo.Comment
