Hey Someguy,
Get on the Propecia and use Rogaine -- these products are especially effective in treating just your type of hair loss (on the crown). While you are waiting for those products to be effective (give it a year before you judge effectiveness!), you can easily conceal with Toppik or Nanogen fibers - it would take about 30 seconds to cover that baldspot with either of those products and it will be completely undetectable -- especially given that you basically have thick hair.
If you don't like your results in a year then go for a HT consultation -- check out an IAHRS doc located near you -- the good folks on this site can lead you in the right direction.
Best,

Hey Someguy,
I totally agree with mhoffma1. Propecia and Rogaine have been specifically noted to be effective in the crown. You look like you have great thick hair all over your head and thinning in the crown. I've used Toppik religiously for the past 4 years and it covers my bald patch in my crown. Be warned thougu. It has 2 drawbacks. 1)you may get addicted to Toppik. (I sure as hell am.) 2) Applying it is messy as hell. (But I have very thin hair and I need a lot).
I would recommend the Toppik Spray Maximizer as well. It makes applying it less messy. I would definitely look into getting on Propecia ASAP. The most important thing you can do is prevent your hair loss from getting any worse. Propecia is one of your first lines of defense from thatComment
