32 yr old, thinking about HT (with pics)

Hi all, first post here. Looking for advice please.
Noticed my receding hairline when I was in my late teens. I didn't take any action until I was about 26 when I went to the Advanced Hair studio (UK) and had a course of laser treatment with minoxidil.
I continued the minox for about 2 years on and off then stopped.

About 4 months ago I started again with the Regain and if i'm honest think I can see a small number of new hairs where I think there were previously non (This could also be wishful thinking).

I am seriously thinking about booking a consultation with a HT clinic as its really starting to get me down now. It's thinning on top as well as receding from the front and i've already starting cutting it short which does not suit me at all

Any advice gratefully received regarding HT or should I continue with the meds.
    Thanks,
    Jim.

These are recent pics, apologies for the quality... taken on my phone at work.

I don't see a lot of thinning on top but maybe that's because your hair is short. Unfortunately, Minox is mostly good for maintaining what you have. I don't think it'll do much for the hairline especially if it's been gone for a while but you can try as we all respond differently to Minox or Fin.
Like the people already told you, you don't look bad with short hair but I know if you don't like baldness then shaving won't be an answer. If you're not happy with the way your hair looks and Minox doesn't do much and you don't want to try Fin then your only remaining option is an HT. Just remember that once you start with HT you will most likely have to go back for more as hair loss progresses. Also, don't expect to see the same density in your hairline -or anywhere- like the one you used to have with your original hair.

I found Propecia more effective than Regaine. Your hair loss is very limited at the moment so it might be better to try the drug therapies before considering an HT.
