I'm 25 and was wondering if you could give me your opinion if this is a balding crown? Thanks

Could be nothing or could be first signs of little thinning in your crown. You should get it checked by a doctor, it is hard to say at this hair length.
Depending on your family history of hair loss and if it gets worse, you might want to look into Rogaine or Nizoral shampoo later on. Or taking a bigger step with propecia. You have a good chance to recover with a combo of these three but only in case you have actual hair loss starting.
Good luck and do not freak out based on above or any other comments. Get it checked and then decide what to do. -
In the mean time, there is no harm in starting to use Nizoral A-D shampoo as a "just in case" since it is a very good medicated shampoo anyways. You could possibly benefit from using it in other ways as well. Just make sure to use it as directed on the bottle - and also use a good quality moisturizing conditioner.
If the doctor finds that you are starting to thin, you are in a very good position to prevent it from getting worse and possibly reversing it since you are catching the problem so soon. Rogaine (Minoxidil), Nizoral A-D and the laser comb gave me back a lot of my hair that was lost. Not enough though because I waited too long to start treatment, but a lot.Comment

Lokks more like a cowlick. Keep in mind that people who have lighter skin and darker hair will more often have what appears to be a thinning area that is actually just a part or seperation of the hair that lets light reflect of the light skin of the scalp. I think you are still have a real nice head of hair.Comment
