Are dating push ads still good for engagement

I have been testing different traffic sources lately, and I keep coming back to push notifications. But honestly, I am still unsure if I am using them the right way, especially for engagement and not just clicks.

When I started with Dating Push Ads, I thought they would bring easy traffic. And yes, they did bring clicks, but most users did not stick around. That was the frustrating part. It felt like I was paying for attention that lasted only a few seconds.

At first, I blamed the traffic quality. But after testing more, I realized the issue was more about how I was presenting the offer. My messages were too generic. Stuff like “find your match now” just did not stand out anymore.

So I tried changing the tone a bit. I made the notifications feel more personal, like something a real person might say. I also started using curiosity instead of direct selling. That small shift actually improved engagement more than I expected.

Another thing that helped was timing. I used to run campaigns all day, but when I focused more on evenings, the interaction rate went up. It seems like people are more open to exploring dating apps during that time.

Landing pages also made a difference. If the page did not match the vibe of the push message, users would leave instantly. Keeping things consistent helped reduce drop offs.

I am still testing and learning, but one thing is clear. Push ads can work for engagement, but only if the message feels natural and not forced.

Would be interesting to know if others are getting better results or facing the same issues.
