Just got back from the 5 day desert trip - my honest thoughts!
I wanted to share my experience because I was SO nervous before booking this, reading all sorts of mixed reviews about long drives and whether it’s worth it. I finally decided to go for a 5 day tour from marrakech to merzouga and honestly, it exceeded my expectations! The first day through the Tizi n’Tichka pass was a bit winding but the views were insane, and by the time we reached the Dades Valley I was already glad I didn't just do a 3-day rush. The highlight for me was definitely the night in the Merzouga desert camp – sleeping under that many stars is something else. Just a heads up though, the roads can be long on day 2 and 4, so bring snacks and a good playlist! If anyone is on the fence about doing this route, feel free to ask me anything, happy to help.
