Hi! I'm new here, and I need some help

Hi, I'm new here, and I'm very scared of going bald. I'm 15 year boy though.

Well, I have this problem with my scalp. When I move my hair, at the top of the scalp, it feels like needles poking at my scalp. It also has this little burning sensation. Is this a sign that says I'm going to be bald?

i had that kind of sensation with my hair too. in the past it almost felt like it hurt when i touched it, in certain spots. but im not sure whether or not that's an indicator of baldness. it may be perfectly normal. i wouldn't freak out about it just yet.

have you noticed any change in your hair, other than that feeling that you're describing? has there been any change in the texture or appearance of your hair?

Paso---you need to have your parents arrange for a trip to the Dermatologist. Your Doctor will be able to diagnose any scalp condition and prescribe the proper treatment program for you.

The pain and burning sensation that you’re describing sounds like a relatively common condition known as Trichodynia. Some medical practitioners refer to this as “pony hair syndrome”, but from what I understand the pain, tingling and burning sensation has little to do with any mechanical pulling of the hair. It can also be referred to as Tichalgia which is usually associated with pain when touching or moving (not pulling) the hair.

While Trichodynia has been associated with telogen effluvium and common male and female pattern hair loss, most people who suffer with it usually have no associated hair loss.
Take Jason ‘s advice and ask your parents to take you too see a doctor... And above all relax, you’ll most likely be perfectly fine.

What?! It's associated? So does that mean I will have male pattern baldness for sure?

Oh, and one more question. Will we ever have a promising product that can regrow hair? like.....10-16 years from now?
