    Would appreciate some advice please.

So i'm 28 and i guess i first noticed my hair change around two years ago, i have blond hair and my temple hair went a very light colour blond compared to the rest of it, but was still very thick, since that time i have had medium length hair and thought it was ok until i recently had a short cut, and wow the difference to how i remember it is very noticeable to me, although if someone were to look at my hair they would not know i was balding really, as my hair line is still there but much thinner than it used to be on the temples, and i think maybe a little thiner in the crown but it's hard to tell because all the males in my family have a sort of swirl of hair at the back.

I don't understand why this is happening to me because both my grandads had hair in their 80's, my dad has a full head of hair at 57, both my elder brothers have thick hair in their late 30's, my mom has very thick hair, as do my uncles, i even saw photos of my great grandad with loads of hair so this kind of sucks, i have spoke about it with family and they all tell me i have thick hair, but it is annoying because i know my hair is thinner now and they think i'm being paranoid about it, i have been to my doctor to ask about propecia and he said he didn't want to give it to me because the long term effects are not known, and that DHT is important to be a healthy male.

If truth be told i don't want to take it anyway because some of the stories on the net scare the crap out of me, i don't wish to sound crude, but i would rather have my dick working as it should than hair, plus i want kids soon, but i respect it is a persons individual decision, although i wont rule it out just yet i need to know more first, at this moment in time i'm using Nizoral and hair supplements, and just trying to live a healthy life with exercise and all that good stuff, so what i want to know is about Histogen and if i can hold out for when this is ready, if it will be ready at all.

Any information or advice would be great, thanks for reading.

Well if no one else is your family has hair loss than the thinning could be brought on by something other than MPB. This could be stress, diet, supplementation, etc. Take a look at your life style first before jumping to conclusions. If you do have MPB you noticed it "early" enough to do something about it.

Well i'm pretty sure it's MPB in the early stages i had my thyroid done and all my bloods they came back fine, i was kind of hoping they wouldn't in a strange way so i could stop my hair loss, and my hair is fine on the back and sides so i don't want to kid myself.

You could go to a dermatologist or better yet a hair replacement specialist. The hair replacement specialist could give you a test to tell you for sure if you have MPB and he could map out your loss for you. After that you're limited to the BIG 3 and a bunch of other hypothetical treatments.

Yes i was thinking of going to a specialist, but i sort of know about propecia, nizoral, and minoxidil, plus all the other crap scams that are on the internet praying on us fellas knowing we are desperate, i also have the tell tale itch and tingle on my scalp, i'm really just putting my hopes on Histogen, i'm thinking of just having a buzz cutt to get used to what's going to happen to me.
