How can you say this guy will be totally bald in 10 yrs? From just looking at 1 pic??Proecia and stuff should hopefully slow the process down. I know stressing about it will do the fkin opposite......

My ex wife says my hair hasen't changed AT ALL since she's met me, 4 yrs ago.

You think at this rate I have at least 4 more years of this hair?

As long as I can maintain my hair at this stage, I'm confident about future treatments.
Well if the specialist said you do have MPB, than you start the treatments. You won't lose it all in 4 yrs but will lose ground for sure. Propecia is the key. If it works, than you can potentially hold on to your hair for a long while but you need to always prepare and expect the worst. The reality is that you have to start accepting the fact that this will be a part of your life and you can't live stressing forever. You won't look bad if you do go bald and as you get older it will only blend in with your age. Let's hope something better comes along in the future because even if Propecia works, I wouldn't want to live my life taking that drug for decades. Hair does not make the man, your personality will. Good luck.

I think it was a mistake posting those first pictures. With short fine hair under direct light can be a little misleading. I examined my hair under the same light, and even the back of my head, where hair is resistant to balding, is equally thin.

Regardless I'm sticking with my treatments.. better safe then sorry.

Dude have you ever had longer hair?

You look like a perfect NW1 to me. A LOT of guys I know have a see-through scalp with really short hair and it completely disappears once they wear it a bit longer. It's clearly a matter of light/hair color and texture.

Yea, because I do have fine hair.. it's a pain in the ass to maintain it long. I like it short, 1 inch ontop.

When I posted pictures of longer hair, people said I had no signs of hair loss.
