    my story part 2

Hey everyone, I'm just going to get straight to the point, I think I'm experiencing hair loss, either due to oily scalp, traction alopecia or side effects from acne medication (roaccutane, I must have been on it for 6 months or so) For traction alopecia, I decided to perm my hair a few months ago ( this was after acne

    refer to above thread.

so i have been using nizoral since then and my hairloss in the shower has significantly dropped to less than 10 strands. one question i'd like to ask is, how long should i be on nizoral for? Or when can i stop using nizoral? if i stop using nizoral shampoo, will my scalp return to the way it was? --losing more and more hair in the shower

so this is what my hair looks like now. i know how my hair felt like in the pass and it was MUCH denser in the past... as you can see, it looks pretty sparse in the frontal area...

im just looking for a solution for my hair to go back to the way it once was, dense and thick.

    ---

last question : so because i was on roaccutane and i experienced the unfortunate side effects of hairloss, can i expect the hair to grow back...? i've been off roaccutane for months now.

if your hair feels more sparse than before then it may be an early sign of genetic balding. you can lose up to 50 percent of your hair and still pull off the appearance of having a full head of hair. you want to go see a hair surgeon to examine your hair follicles under the microscope to see if there's any miniaturization.
