    Early 20s and thinning hair

Hi. Just found this forum after noticing my hair is thinning all over. Paternal side of family all have thick hair. Maternal side - grandfather went bald early. I am a recent college grad where I experienced lots of stress and didnt eat the best so that may have played a role in my thinning hair. New job starts soon so insurance will kick in. Should I see a dermatologist before trying anything? I dont have much money but is there something natural I should do to keep my situation from getting worse before I can get help (shampoo, supplements)? Can a derm tell from looking at my head what is going on or would they need to do a blood test? Thanks

If you want to read about a natural approach. Gives you advice on what blood tests to take and what to use for shampoo and why to avoid supplements.

Can a coffee spray really make a difference in thinning hair? Thinking about using this and taking Saw Palmetto and Pumpkin Seed Oil to start. Also going to try and eat more foods that have Biotin. Do you think this is a good place to start?
