    new to the site

    Hi everyone,

Well my hair has been receding for about 7 years, and I wish I had done my research much sooner! So I've just received a 3 year supply of proscar, 12 month supply of minoxidil 5%, and loads of nizoral 2%. I do take steroids and hgh (because I'm obsesssed with my body image, something to do with lack of hair, and not exactly a pretty boy either). I'm planning to go back on cycle in january and want to know if anyone here has used proscar with steroids and had any regrowth at all?

I'm planning on taking 2.5mg of proscar everyday, does this seem like too much?

Any advice/information offered will be very appreciated,

    Cheers guys.

If you have genetic hair loss than the steroids can certainly increase the rate at which the hair loss occurs. You should definetly consider taking an estrogen blocker and a DHT blocker. This may help to offset the increase levels in Testosterone and subsequent conversion to DHT.

Thanks for your reply Doc, Only just realised this is an american board and appreciate your reply, I know AAS use is heavily frowned upon in the states. I have read so many horror stories about using finasteride on the net, permanent libido problems and such, I am a member of a bodybuilding forum and everyone on there thinks I'm being wreckless with my health by taking the Proscar! But I thought it would actually be safer to use Proscar whilst using steroids (testosterone), to keep sex drive up, I will be taking an aromatise inhibitor (Adex) for estrogen management and using HCG (to prevent testicular hypertrophy ie, hpta shutdown).

Do you think I will have a better chance of avoiding any unwanted side effects by using AAS and associated compounds?

Any advice offered will be very gratefuly received...

      Thanks,
