Whats with my hair?

Im only eighteen and have a huge white spot on my head and around it I have really thin hair and can see my scalp if my hair is parted in a certain direction. Im currently using head and shoulders hair endurance for men. And suggestions are am I just worrying too much?

Looks like early crown loss. Do you have a strong family history of male genetic hair loss. If so, you may want to consider trying Rogaine or Propecia to try and get things under control.

Yeah my dad and two of my older brothers show hair loss. I am also already showing huge signs of receding lines. I was thinking of trying Propecia but I saw a dermatologist and he said that just use Rogaine because the pill is not safe, is that true?

No that is not true. Propecia is safe and it is the only FDA drug approved to treat hairloss. Side effects only occur within like 1% of user I believe. When I talked to my dermatoligist about my hairloss, he told me he has been on Propecia for 10 years. He still has a full head of hair at age 40.
