Hello,
I have long been anticipating hair loss. My other family members have all lost their hair, and I have always thought it would soon be my turn. I have numerous times thought I was thinning but I turned out to just be overthinking.
Now, a week ago, I concluded finally it was thinner and decided to start using FIN. Although not a 100 percent sure it had started, I was 99,99 percent sure.
After a couple of days after starting FIN my hair is much thinner. My GF who was unsure whether I was getting thinner when I started (or she was 90 percent sure herself but had some doubts) now says she is 100 percent sure.
Two options/explanations:
1) I just started right before it became really noticeable
2) I am shedding because of fin, in the starting process (which is not very uncommon, I have heard)
What do you guys/expert think?
AND, if it is number 2 - does this confirm that I had in fact started to bald? I guess, if my hair was healthy it would not be effected by FIN. I guess - and I am only guessing - that shedding only occurs on weak hairs caused by balding
