My journey with RU58841 + steroids (with pics)
Background:
35 years old. I'm not sure what my Norwood scale is.
Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) and Accutane (Skin medication) caused most of my hair loss. I stopped Accutane completely because my hair was falling out in clumps. I occasionally use AAS, and I will continue to.
I started finasteride 7mg per week, six months ago, which caused total erectile dysfunction six months in. I reduced to 3mg per week and the only side effect is a slightly reduced libido.
Finasteride treatment regrew most of the thinning on the sides, and also some baby hairs near the temple recession sites.
My hope is that RU58841 will reduce or nullify steroid-induced hair loss.
I'm currently on 70mg TRT per week.
Day 1:
1ml (50mg) RU58841 Pre-made solution in the morning
1ml (50mg) RU58841 Pre-made solution in the evening
I am mostly dealing with a receding hair line in the left temple area. The right temple area is also receding, but it is not so bad. The crown looks worse in these pics because of the wet hair (I actually never even bother to look at my crown :P).
I also have some recent thinning of the sides, but you cannot see this right now in the pictures because the sides are cut very short (zero guard).
