    Minoxidil / having a baby

Hi. My name is Martin. Iīm starting to try to have a baby with my wife. And I'm using Minoxidil 5%. I have been using a bit more of what is required, as I have a bit of face hair growth. But thatīs not the thing that worries me. (I'm using it in the morning and night, 5 applications each time)
I'm a more concern about the fact that this tonic might have some effect on sperm, fertility, of course I donīt want the baby have any problem because of this tonic, which when I apply it to the scalp I have some burps and other side effects. It might sound a bit paranoid, but I'm just an ignorant regarding these issues.

    I appreciate your advice.

    Thanks

    Martin

Never heard it causing any issues - You might be getting confused with the myth of Propecia causes issues (never reported either)

I fathered twins on Proscar and think its a fertility drug!

I have never heard of topical Minoxidil causing any negative effects besides a possible blood pressure change in the person taking the medication. Are you using the solution or the foam? I do not think that increasing the recommended dosing will be of any real benefit.

By the way good luck with the baby and remember practice makes perfect. When it happens I am pretty sure you will have a new most important thing in your life.

Thanks for the wishes! By the way, that blood pressure you are talking about, Minoxidil brings it down, right?

          thx!!

            Yeah, brings it lowers it.

It lowered mine to the point I was almost fainting sometimes when I used too much. My body has since grown used to it.
