I’m 52, 53 next month. How much trouble am I in?

My hair has always been thick and curly when it has enough length. What loss there is has been about in the last two years. When I first mentioned to anyone that I see some loss, they all said “I thought you knew” but I didn’t. It’s such a gradual thing. I’m taking it better than I thought I would really. Of all the things that could go wrong, my hair is way down the list. -
I am not a expert on any of this, but you still have enough hair that if you wanted to hide the thinning once and awhile you could us a product like Toppik or others that are fine fibers sprinkled on your scalp to coverup the thinning area, good for an evening or day just to tone it down. But than there are drugs like finasteride that might save or regrow some hair, but could have side effects you should look into. There is also minoxidil solution you have to apply once or twice a day that I think may regrow or save what you have, again look into side effects. Than there is always an expensive hair transplant that could possible work well for you because of your age and how you still have a lot of hair. Just wanted to give you a comment because I know how frustrating it is when you're dealing with this and no one is replying. There is a lot of good information on this site that should help you.Comment

Thank you for the reply.
I know I still have a good bit of hair, I’ve only recently even noticed it. And, I’m not even that worried about it. At this stage, I’m more worried about far more than how much hair I have. I was just curious about where it’s headed...pardon the pun.Comment
