Hello all, I am presently nearing the eight month of my HT journey and have a few questions for the HT veterans out there. My results at this present time are somewhat satisfactory (in my opinion) with the exception of my hairline, and I don't know if I'll experience any additional growth. Over the past week or so I'm noticing that I am losing hair from the recipient site while showering.. Just today I must have lost close to 20+ hairs. By the texture of the hair, I know that it is not my native hair, but rather the hair that was transplanted. Is this normal so far in the restoration process? I understand that everyone goes through a seasonal shedding period, but not sure if this is that? I am still taking 1/4 pill of proscar on a daily basis.. Please advise. I've attached some pics showing my progress to date as well.

Some patients tend to have increased shedding at certain times of the year. In order for you to judge the success of your procedure you need to wait another 6 months. Do not make final opinion based on a preliminary result.Comment

Hi there, I am 28 years old. I've passed the one year mark, but the end result of the hairline is different from my initial expectations Don't get me wrong, the overall results are very good, but I am definitely seeing a big lack of density on the left side of the hairline. I'll upload some pictures showing my results to date. I'm hoping to address these concerns in my post op appointment.Comment
