Hello, I have been slowly receding ever since I was about 18. I started using minoxidil around March of 2017 and started seeing results by summer of that year. For some reason though I started receding again after a few months. I been using minoxidil ever since. Now, as of March 2018 I hopped on finasteride and 11 months later my hairline is still receding. I heard somewhere that excessive masterbation can cause hair loss and I was a chronic masterbator ever since I was about 13. I’m 21 now. I started cutting back masterbating since the end of January 2019 and I believe I am growing new baby hairs on my forehead near my hairline but my hairline seems to be receding still. I have some pictures. Please let me know whether you think they are miniaturized hairs or new hair growth. Around December-January it seems like I started growing in news hairs but then I started using a shampoo that contained ketaconozle everyday around the second week of January. (I was not aware it contained ketaconozle). Anyways I think all those hairs fell out due to the intensity i was using the shampoo. I stopped using it and do you guys think these are new hairs coming in? Let me know.
I know my hair loss doesn’t seem that bad but if you were to see my hairline in person you can 100 percent tell it has receded a great amount. The pictures don’t show how bad it really is.
