I know this is the men's forum, but women's forums are not helping me perhaps someone here can provide some insight? I am a 42 yr old female. I have diffuse thinning very noticeable in the past month, the past three weeks. I had a biopsy and was told I have AGA. However, my dermatologist can't rule out "something else going on" - her words - because I see/ am shedding these extremely tiny fiber like hairs everywhere. It's so tiny and fine it looks like clothing fibers or dust. It's everywhere and it is definitely my hair. Any answers out there? Thank you.
