Hi all,
I'm 36, hair has been thinning around the crown for a few years now. I started Propecia approx 18 months ago, I've definitely lost some more since then but the rate seems fairly slow.
My question is around the pattern of hairloss I'm experiencing. I look at the Norwood scale but I can't really fit myself into any category. I would say my hairline is very good - it's not what it was when I was 18, but it really doesn't bother me at all. However I have significant loss at the crown over quite a wide area.
I've attached some photos taken today, these were taken in a clothing store changing room so the lighting is quite harsh and I think makes it look worse than it does "in real life". Also attached a pic taken a few weeks ago to show the hairline, from the front there's really no problem (as far as I'm concerned).

Any thoughts please? Does this fit into the Norwood scale? Could the cause be something other than standard MPB? I am willing to go for a transplant but want to know what I'm dealing with first. Any feedback really appreciated.
Cheers,
ADC
