New to the forum, but not a hairloss noob. - Proposition:

    Hello, gang,

My name is Birdman. I am 56 years old and have been addressing my hair loss since age 21. I have extensive experience with a variety of hair loss remedies and treatments. Back in the early 80's I even used the now-defunct Thomas Labs hair treatment products and therapies (before minoxidil ever existed). Over time I have used Finasteride, Dutasteride, Dr. Lee's Minoxidil 15% (and now 5%) +PG, Castor oil with DSMO, Ketoconazole 2% Cream and topical Spironolactone.

I am what is called a "lifehacker." Anytime a new technology, procedure or treatment becomes available I either attempt it with a physician or figure out a way to do it myself. I have used steroids back in the 90's and early 2000's for bodybuilding and now I am on self-administered TRT. ...I am no stranger to needles.[/I] ...So here's my proposition:

I would like to post a thread documenting my ongoing experiments with PRP. I have all of the proper lab equipment necessary to extract my own PRP as I also do my own phlebotomy to address my high RBC count (due to the TRT). My thread will outline all of the laboratory products I use, how and where I obtained them, how to use them, an outline of the process, how to perform a PRP treatment and along with a photo diary of the effectiveness of the treatments - using my own head.

What I don't know is if this would be allowed on your forum. I am not a medical doctor and everything I am doing does not involve a licensed medical professional. However, if you want to see if this can be done at home and get first-hand data on how the whole process works, I will create this thread.

    ...What say you?
