It looks like i got a bad roll of the dice?

Hello i am new to this never thought i would come here seeing my father is almost 60 with good hair and according to my mom her father also had quite the hairline, but here i am another guy in his 20s worried about hair loss, i dont quite get how to evaluate a hairline using the norwood scale but if i had to guess i am a norwood 2 starting to progress into norwood 3, people tell me i am paranoid and went to a bad barber but to me its clearly thinning and receding. i would just like to know how bad it is and if i should start using the big 3?
    anyhow thanks for helping.

    That's how it starts.

I was amazed at how fast it progressed.

Before taking medication(sometimes they do worst). Go to a specialist and get your blood test. Some causes of hair loss is hormonal imbalance like thyroid, tester one,etc... Or nutrition.

Could we get a shot from the top? Do you have any pics of your earlier hairline?

Truth be told, there's no telling. Everyone's hair is different. Some people get to a NW2 and stay there. But, if you're going to keep balding then you'd want to start meds now (consult your doctor first, of course, like Dario said). Finesteride is usually pretty cheap if you get it generic and in a larger mg (you can use a pill cutter to get it down to 1mg doses). Sides are rare. If you get them, stop.

          Or you know... whatever.

Thx for the advice i had a dermatologist appointment already but it seems like the consensus is that they really don't know anything about hair loss and its a waste of time so a came here, i had a blood test last year and everything seemed fine but you never know, anyway as i said before thanks a bunch for the help.
EDIT: I really don't like taking pictures so i don't know if a have any good picture but i will look for it and post it later but me and my brothers always had high hairlines to begin with what i am mos concerned i the temples and corners.
