Just got news from the specialist that shes pretty sure i have mpb

So i just got the news a couple of hours ago, and i must say the news are much better than i thought they would be. Im 19 years old and the only ones bald in my family are my two uncles. So im guessing this could be true.
Now i need some help from you guys to tell me a couple of things. Im thinking about starting minoxidil, but that may be on a hold for a year if the military doesn't allow it here in Norway. A couple of weeks ago i started eating very healthy, and messaging scalp and that has shown great results. Hair got thicker, now we gotta work on the hairline. I have a bit of receding hairline. Im wondering when does mpb really start to kick in (assuming i use minoxidil), and how long can the minoxidil boost the life of the hair? Im lucky i have curly wavy thick hair so my scalp doesnt show. So yeah guys please tell me how to attack this problem the best way possible. I really don't wanna start propecia or finasteride or what ever its called, cause ive heard alot about negative effects of testo, and i need that at this age lol. Thanks.

    Hi Keehar,

Do not panic my friend. I started losing hair at the age of 17, but made the mistake of having a procedure at that young of an age. First and foremost, do not do that by any means.

Hop on some rogaine/minoxidil foam, and/or propecia later on. I tried it at the age of 19, but the side effects were strong. However, everyone responds differently.

Best of luck bud, and do not disparage, for there are many viable solutions, and good doctors out there should you ever need one.
