    21y. old balding? thin hair?

Hi guys, im new here and looking for some help from you. So like four months ago i had a haircut and after that i started to notice that my scalp is seen through the temple side of my head. At first i thought that maybe it was a bad haircut or something, but later on i began noticing as if there is less hair on both sides of my head. Before going to the barbershop I have never noticed that those spots were thinner or something. Since then i was freaking out that im going bald. My family doesnt show that much signs of baldness.

My hairline is the same as always. Only it looks like on the sides of my head i have got less/thin hair. Also the last 7-8 months I have been really stressed and a month before noticing the "baldness" i began consuming nicotine(swedish tobacco). So i am really going bald or is it because of stress`?Click image for larger version

You still have a really great hairline but I do see what looks like some thinning at the temples which looks like the beginning of male pattern balding. I don't think stress would be the cause as it is a genetic condition. It's very hard to predict when it will start or how it will progress and many men will find some sort of stressful event and assume that it is linked to the onset of their hairloss, when in actual fact it is coincidental.

@mattj thanks for the response! I hope its not the male pattern balding... the thing is i also never noticed any abnormal hairloss after taking shower or when using comb.

Nicotine increases hairloss as it reduces bloodflow. You don't need that poison.

do you know how fast I am going to get bald spots on the sides, where the scalp is seen? I am freaking out.. It came out so suddenly.

You wouldn't necessarily notice an increase in hairs when washing or combing if the only area currently thinning is your temples. It's a relatively small area and any loss could easily go unnoticed.
