21 going crazy almost positive finasteride isn't working

I've been on finasteride for about 5 1/2 months and my hairline has gone to shit it's not just thinning it's just receding like crazy so the old hair that was there is just gone now, I am going nuts and I'm pretty sure propecia is making my hair worse by now growing back after these sheds this past 2 weeks my hair has just been falling out like crazy I'm on the verge of quitting propecia I started it while my hairloss wasn't noticeable now I have a hard v in my hairline which I didn't have literally 3 months ago as you can see I'm just going nuts and don't know what to do

There's not possible way there is hair at my hairline to grow back and make thick at this point I might quit, it's 50x worse then when I started I don't even look in the mirror anymore cause I hate looking at my hair
