    Hair In the Shower Drain

I have noticed my hair thinning. But today I found quite a bit of hair in the shower drain. (The classic thing I had always heard of).

Clumps. I am pretty sure that my hair is going.

I have no idea how much I will lose. I don't know if there is a way to get it to stop.

Probably no way to regrow what I lost, but maybe there is a way to slow this or stop it.

Looking for answers. Found this site. I hope I can learn enough to get me through this change.

You've come to the right place!

If it's from androgens, start on Finasteride (one milligram) right away. Then use Minoxidil five percent
foam. Use it at least twice daily.

If you're young, and your hairloss started, be prepared for a major battle. If you are in your older years,
    it won't be as agressive.

      Thank you so much!

I don't think that I have ever been this thankful to be older.

As for Finasteride and Minoxidil, is that something I would need to talk to my doctor to get? Or can I just order it online or get it over the counter?

I am taking other medications, so should I talk to my doctor before going on these things? I would assume they can interact with other drugs. (But maybe it won't be harmful).
