    Should I continue Propecia?

    I need some advice here.

I've been taking 0.5mg dosage of Propecia for 4 days now. Here are some problems I've encountered.

    Definitely not placebo
-Unfortunatly I am getting a lot of discomfort at the gland/tip/uretha of my penis. It's like a tingling/burning sensation and it constantly feels like I need to urinate. It is more painful in this area when I orgasm.

-Random shocks of pain in the area mentioned above, for a few seconds at different parts of the day.

    -Testicle pain while masturbating

-Small bursts of testicle pain while driving (lol)

    Likely placebo / imagination
-I feel much less desire to masturbate, usually I cannot stop.
-When erect, the top of my penis at the very base feels more.. flat?

I know I'm only 4 days in, and in total I've only had 2 tablets, but I'm really thinking of just quitting now, it's obviously affecting my penis.

    Thoughts?

Stuff like this is always good to talk about with your physician and get their feedback. Personally, I don't see any harm in stopping the medication for a few weeks and see if the problems subside. Often with medication like this, there's a bit of trial and error involved, and many guys have to play around with different doses, frequency, etc. - but if you are indeed experiencing side effects so quickly, then that may mean you're not a good candidate for the drug. Again, run this by your prescribing physician and get their input and let them help you figure out how to proceed.
