Is the shape of my head a big deal? (PICTURES)

Everyone that shaves their head doesn't have a perfectly round shape. If I saw you in public, I wouldn't go "OMG look at that shape it is obscene". I'd just think you were a regular person and not think much about it. You obviously just shaved it, but after a few hours in the sun it's not going to look bad at all. I wouldn't worry about it .

Dude you look better bald. That bump is nothing to worry about. It could be a lot worse. Some guys have a dome that looks like an old football helmet. Others have a flat occipital bone and perhaps the worst thing I've seen is rolls of neck fat.

Ok, I hear you. I feel that way too, hopefully not sounding arrogant there but it feels like the head shape has sort of pissed any chance of looking good away.
Thanks anyway guys, I just need to convince myself - maybe it's something that's going to come with time as I get used to the look of it. Thanks for the advice on the minoxidil as well keepthehair, i will try using it every two days before bed see how that works, I'm sure it's better than nothing. I'm tempted to try fin again one day if I maintain but definitely not yet. I would just like to hold off the loss so I keep my coverage with a shaved head for as long as possible.Leave a comment:

What I am saying is: It looks fine shaved. Your lucky you don't look UGLY as HELL like 99% of people do with their head shaved!
Just because you look "good"(no homo) with it shaved doesn't mean you can't look better with it grown out.Leave a comment:

Grow it out, buzz cut. It still looks way better than completely shaved if you ask me.
I get minox side effects too. I just apply less now. It gets worse when I am sick etc. So I apply less when sick. Maybe try applying a little before you go to bed. That is what I am going to do. But perhaps discontinuing is the best option.Leave a comment:

I just think the bump looks a bit nasty side on, it's like a dual bump.
This is me with quite decent hair a bit of a shit hairstyle but there you go haha:

If I grow it out now, it's probably a bit worse than this:

I keep it at a number 2/3 usually these days and I am getting re growth from minox foam already after 2 months I swear. I have just shaved it clean off before I go away to Istanbul for 10 days, I don't think I will bic it then until I am really going bald.
In an ideal world I would have reacted well to propecia (for those who read my thread before, I suffer bad sexual sides from it) and also minox. I use minox at the moment with what i believe to be great success coming but I am suddenly getting headaches and weird circulation feelings particularly in the arms legs and at times heart so I'm wondering whether to stop that.Leave a comment:

I wouldn't expect the responses to be any different from last time.
The only people who will see anything wrong with your head shape are:
1. You.
2. Maybe the occasional unpleasant person who wants to get at you somehow, and chooses the most obvious thing 'wrong' with you to focus on.
I don't remember if you posted photos with your hair grown out, but you don't seem to have lost enough that it would look bad if you did let it grow longer, if that's what you want.Leave a comment:

Your lucky. It looks fine. Extremely rare for this to happen.
Would look much better with hair, obviously.
But yeah, you don't have anything to worry about.Leave a comment:

I agree with the others- you're an attractive guy and you pull off that look really well. You definitely don't have a bad head shape and should rest assured that the completely shaven look is a great fall-back option for you!Leave a comment:

Is the shape of my head a big deal? (PICTURES)
Ok, so I asked this question before when i first became a member here and I got positive feedback, but it's still bothering me so I am posting up some new pictures to get another verdict. I know there are some brutally honest users on here which I didn't notice before so I believe this is an honest place to ask.
I think many of us experiencing male pattern baldness are concerned about the shape of our heads because we all know that the natural way out is to shave your head. I honestly love having a shaved head and a beard, although I prefer it at number 2 rather than shaving it to the skin so i would shave my head even without male pattern baldness. However, a number 2 with good coverage covers up the bad head shape, my future totally bald head does not and I fear that I may never ever get over this if it's that bad or I can't do something about the shape.Tags: None
