Finasteride is proven to work. Some guys have resistance for DHT reasons. We have to do what we feel comfortable with.
Use the Minoxidil all over the hairline, even though the box says vertex only. It will work there if there is recently lost hair. After some time, unfortunately, hair might not grow back. (Same is true for both hairline and vertex).
There are guys in their mid twenties who have bounced back from Finasteride and Minoxidil. They actually jumped down a couple of scaled on the Norwood.
Look up hair loss experiment, or from Date Line on youtube. They have men who used the products over a year. There are identical twins who used different hair loss methods. Both jumped a lower number on the Norwood scale. But one twin clearly had better results than the other.
Good luck.Leave a comment:

By the way, I have started a RU58841 + Minoxidil treatment two weeks ago. I will let you know if I see any positive effects in the coming weeks...Leave a comment:

Here is a photo that shows my problem. It's not too much but I wish I could just stop and even reverse it...!

Hello Chippy!!
First of all, how old are you and what exactly is your scalp's issue?
It would be good to see photos of your hairline so that I and other helpful members here could really know what to say to help you.
Also, there is no need to show your face but that is up to you.
You wont be criticized here Chippy.
B231, it would be good for you to do the same.

What I do know is that long hair in itself doesn't cause baldness.
It has to be a tight hairstyle, and pulling.Leave a comment:

Just liquid Finasteride. Occasionally I use one milligram of solid Propecia. Thanks for the reply.
I seem to be thinning everywhere even on the sides and back. And my head is always itching and burning. Is that common with Male Pattern Baldness?
I have been doing a ton of research and fear I may have retrograde alopecia...
Donor area is thinning..
Are you on Finasteride?
If you have retrograde alopecia, it is from tight hairstyles. Don't really
know a lot about that.Leave a comment:
