Am I going bald?

On my dad's side most of my uncles have receding hairline on my mom's side, everyone has strong thick hair. I'm 20 years, Am I losing hair or just have a big forehead?

Hey man! A great head of hair! To me it looks like, that you are just experiencing a maturing hairline, usually it occurs in our early 20's.

Have you noticed any thinning around the vertex or all around the top of your head? Sometimes male pattern baldness starts with thinning of hair, instead of dramatically receding hairline.

Also the known theory says, that the gene for MPB comes from the side of your mother.

If you still have any doubts, you could always see a dermatologist to make sure that things are ok. If he would notice any signs of balding, you could together come up with treatment regime. The earlier you start your balding treatments (i.e. Minoxidil, Finasteride) the better results you will see.

But as I said, to me that looks just like a maturing hairline!
