Bald patch or prominent crown???

Can someone please tell me if this is a bald patch or a prominent crown. It's depressing as **** because I am merely 18. I have a slight U shape hairline on my forehead but no serious signs of recession. I have very fine hair

Looks fine to me man. Keep an eye on it and keep an eye on your hairline.

It's because you're taking a picture and the flash is making it worse than it looks in reality. Turn the flash off, take another pictures and look at it, breathe a sigh of relief, and move on

Still pretty sure that's just your crown. Once you become concerned about it and hyper aware, it seems a lot worse than it is. I think you're in good shape, but you can always set up a consultation with a doctor just to ease your mind.

See what I mean by what the flash does? Your crown looks much healthier from this latest photo. LIke Pkipling said though, it doesn't hurt to go see a doctor that will measure your miniaturization ratio.
