I need to clarify if I have a receding hairline or not. Please help I am OCD about it

I always had a head full of thick hair and still do, but for the past year I've been noticing that my hairline looks pretty odd and been wondering if I was going to go bald or it just a normal hairline. I am 22 years old and been growing my hair for 10 months now and I always preferred long hair over short hair. I had long hair during my late teenage years but decided to shave it all off. Judging from my short hair pics a year ago, I see a perfectly squared hairline with no sign of hair loss. Today, when I pull my long hair back, I can not tell if my hair is receding or it is just the fact that I did not have those little baby hairs near my eyebrows trimmed off. I also have a widow's peak since I can remember so it makes it look more apparent that my hairline is receding. However, I can not judge alone. Please let me know what you guys think?

It's hard to say for sure, to me it looks like you have receded slightly since the pic a year ago. Your current pic of the hairline up close shows little baby hairs growing at the very front. Typically those would be thick and strong and dark like the rest of your hair if you weren't receding. Do you have a family history of hair loss? If so try to compare to them. It's not always concrete but it will give you an idea of what you're looking forward to. In the case there is recession or baldness in your family, and it bothers you, I would get on finasteride ASAP and save your great head of hair. It was too late for me by the time I found out about it. Hope this helps, btw don't be discouraged by hair loss. Whether you choose to fight or let nature take its course, life goes on my friend. Good luck.

Don't worry, you're completely fine, it's normal for men to recede slightly, but your hair looks absolutely fine whether it has or hasn't.
