Do I have a receding hairline? if so, how bad is it? Pics included.

I noticed some recession a year or so ago. My dad is a NW3 at the moment with good hair on top. Not sure if im receding, sometimes I think I am.and sometimes I amnt sure. Could it be a maturing hairline? Many guys my age have similar hairlines it seems. Im seventeen by the way. Any advice would be appreciated.

Well, in context these photos are very low quality, so I can't tell if there's thinning or not. It takes clarity and the right lighting to see it when it's early. Who knows for an absolute certainty, but for what it's worth your hair looks thick to me. I think mine is thick, but in bright lighting, and especially with my head tilted towards the light, it looks thin in the front, because I feel like I'm seeing too much scalp. I never knew if that was normal or not, and the problem is that I don't remember what it looked like 3 years ago. All I know is that I hate looking at my hair in the mirror - especially other people's mirrors. I have a lighting situation in my bathroom that keeps me from going insane when I look in it.

In any case, anyone in the very early stages would require miniaturization mapping.
