Hey! New guy here, would really appreciate some help... Pictures included.

Long story short, I'm tired of shaving my head. I've always had thin hair and probably started balding around 19-20 years old. I've been shaving my hair for the past 3 years because I was tired of the comb over and wearing hats everywhere.

Lately, as a experiment, I grew out my hair a little to see where I'm at as far as hair loss. Pictures included.

So before I actually go see a doctor I wanted to get a little insight to my options.

I'm open to hair transplants, hair pieces, but I don't really want to take medication since I do plan to have kids in the next year or two.

    Thanks in advance!

From one Kings fan to another,

Because you wear your hair very short you should probably have FUE as it will allow you to continue to wear your hair this short as opposed to FUT where the scar would probably show through at this length. You should probably have in the range of 2500 grafts to the frontal and mid scalp with a very conservative hairline placed to allow for future procedures to keep up with continuing native hair loss. From the photos it also appears that your donor density may be a little lower than typical. That means every follicle will need to be used properly and you may not have enough donor hair to create a thick head of hair in all the areas of hair loss depending on the eventual severity of your loss pattern. I hope this information is helpful. Go Kings Go!
